How many hashtags should I use?
LinkedIn is quite specific about the number of hashtags you should be using.
While Instagram and Twitter seem to encourage batch-usage of hashtags, LinkedIn prefers quality over quantity.
The golden number is 3 hashtags, no more, no less. My personal recommendation is to use 2 very popular hashtags (from the list above), and one less popular but more specific one. Something that concerns your industry, your region, your product and that would give you visibility within a niche that you deeply care about. For example, the hashtag #ContactCentreUK is much less popular than #ContactCentre, but the type of followers would be more specific and qualitative if you are talking about Contact Centres in the UK.
